Freedom not Fear 2015: Save the date

There are a lot of enemies threatening the free internet and our privacy across Europe. Be it surveillance laws made by governments or private industries that undermine the EU data protection reform.

But there is hope. There is a strong civil rights movement in Europe, which comes together, once a year, at Freedom not Fear.

Therefore, save the date and spread the word for Freedom not Fear 2015. It will take place 16th – 19th October 2015, at Mundo B.

We are currently planning a lot of things, but the most important thing is your participation. We have grown a lot in the last years and you can help us growing even more:

The more people come to Brussels, the better! Last year there were about 60 attendees from about 15 different countries. It is easy to join: There will be travel funding, organised by Digitalcourage. You can also ask your MEP if he or she is willing to fund your travel. Last year we made a How-To contact them.

Join the international mailinglist. That’s the place to ask your questions and to discuss your ideas! We also have a Twitter-Account now: @fnf_eu
Freedom not Fear is looking forward to your ideas, your campaign, your workshop: Tell us, what you or your NGO has been doing on a certain topic and connect with other people from Europe, working on similar issues. Join us in Brussels, it’s easy and we also try to help you with accommodation and such.

You will find more information about that here, as soon as we know.

You also may have a look what FNF13-Weekend looked like, thanks to our friends from “GoVeto”, who made this short video-introduction.
